  1. Horizon Series- The main character Aloy has a strong backstory. Close to 1000 years in the future humans have gone back to their tribal roots. Aloy was rejected by her tribe when she was born and considered an outcast. Her life goal was to find out who her birth mother was and she trained for 18 years to participate in her tribe’s hunter competition. Winning this competition meant you could ask the elders any question you desire and be formally accepted into the tribe. Aloy is known as snarky, sarcastic, and confident.

  2. Ghost of Yotei- Atsu, when she was a little girl, had her family killed by a gang that was attempting to take over the Japanese island called Ezo. She taught herself how to be a swordsmith and fought in the war that happened a few years ago. Then she made it her life mission to kill the gang that killed her family and then join her family in the afterlife. She is stubborn, straightforward, and deeply cares for a sense of belonging.

  3. Legend of Zelda- Zelda is the princess of the Hyrule Kingdom and depending on which Legend of Zelda game you play, her mission in the games varies. However, her personality stays consistent with each game. She cares about the people of Hyrule Kingdom and has repeatedly sacrificed herself for the good of her people. She is known as charming, sweet, and persistent.

  4. Life is Strange- Max Caufield has returned back to her hometown after moving away to Seattle and has acquired time travel powers. With her new found powers she tried to reverse any wrongdoing and to correct events. However, she learns to not mess with time and to let things be. She is thoughtful, caring, and a little bit cringy at times but she has a good heart.
